Crystal City is great as ever  I'm going to be heart broken when I have to leave.  Personal revelation is real. God wants to speak with you. Yes, it is personal but I am going to share three different experiences during three separate prayers since I've been on the mission.       The first one happened after I had been contemplating Christ like attributes for several days. How, in a fallen world, could any mortal have enough of a Christ like quality to eventually see Christ as he is.  Q: How can I make these qualities become part of my character?  A: Focus on the people       The second one may sound silly but we are promised we can know the secrets of the universe! (1N 10:19) And I just want to know everything right now  I get sad when study time is over. I was telling God this & he said "You will learn much more on your mission by studying for other people than you ever could by just studying for yoursel...

Saturday  morning during our Book of Mormon class we read 1 Nephi 17.  That night I had a dream we were street contacting with Lehi & Nephi (Naturally.) "Why are you crying? Tell me what is upsetting you. These feelings matter to me and to God." He allows her to explain herself and then offers her the hope she needed. I think it is the same with us today. Although we have const...

I had a dream this week where I was at a concert of all efy music. It was lit.  This is the happiest I have ever been in my life. I say that sincerely, cautiously & with the most respect to every person & every situation that has been a part of my life thus far. That is what has gotten me here. It is also because of a truth I came to understand last summer whilst in Samoa. And that is "if everything happens for a reason, nothing could ever be an inconvenience." That proves to be true every day. Multiple times a day. Our wonderful, omnipotent father in heaven makes sure everything happens for a reason. I feel so lucky to have a relationship with God. I promise He always answers your prayers on time.  Last Monday night we were walking around a parking lot, not with any plan in particular, just looking for people to talk to. Which is where we found Jess. (!!) *after some small talk  "Do you have a faith in Jesus Christ?"  *starts to cry uncontrollably "I ...
