I've been here a little over 2 weeks.. But trust me when I say it feels much longer. In the best way possible.  I've learned more than I ever thought was possible in such a short amount of time. Some of my absolute BEST laugh attacks in my life have been with sister modersitzki in the last weeks. Funny things happen every single day & it fuels us for class. We are the funniest people in the mtc. I promise.  I would share examples but sometimes it's not as funny all written out. Just believe me.  Also, I only get her as a comp for three weeks & that is just rude because usually transfers are six weeks. We work so well together. Especially in lessons. I am so grateful that she is living her life in such a way that allows the spirit to be with her always. Without that essential part this mtc experience would not be as enjoyable.  The devotionals are incredible. They really are. This week the choir sang Praise to the Man. (My all time favorite hym...

Sister Beesting

This week in the mtc has hands down been one of the best weeks of my life. OH so many things I don't even know where to start.  I guess I'll begin with my cute comp, sister modersitzki! The bee sting she got last Tuesday made her foot blow up and it kept getting worse and worse. So by  Saturday  we finally were able to take an mtc shuttle to the ER. Long story short she got a skin infection and had to be in a wheel chair until it was better. Well, not a lot of new things happen at the mtc.. so rumors began to spread & before we knew it we were hearing things like "there's this girl in a wheelchair that has the biggest foot I've ever seen" or "a tracker jacker bit that sister in the wheel chair." Elders and Sisters we hadn't even met would pass us saying "hey sister beesting!" #mtclegends To be honest I loved it. We both did! We made so many new friends because of it! Wayyyy more pros to this whole situation. She's better now ...

The MTC is crazy. CRAZY AWESOME!!  I already love it a lot here. I've learned so much and am anticipating all the things I will continue to learn.  My companions name is Sister Modersitzki. She is literally me but really tall and brunette. I think we should win an award for the loudest companionship. Our first lesson yesterday went really well!  She got a bee sting on her foot the  Tuesday  she got set apart and it just keeps getting more and more swollen. We went into the outside world to the BYU clinic to get her some drugs. Hopefully it starts to get better soon! :) It's all good because Jesus. Plus walking slow has forced us to appreciate all the things around campus!! Wednesday  I was late walking into my classroom so I "happened" to sit facing the west windows. I know I've only been here two nights but it feels like much longer and I have been able to watch the sunset through those windows both nights! What a blessing. Glimpse into outside!...
