So many miracles this week. Days hardly go as planned but they always go as God planned. If we follow the spirit and strive to be worth of it.  Well, friends. I did something bad. Last Monday evening sister seaver and I decided to treat ourselves and get a nice Korean dinner. As we walked out of the restaurant a sir was walking past us. Of course we try to share the gospel with him but he was in a rush to get back to work. We placed a nice picture of Jesus in his hand as he kept walking away. All seems typical, right? Wrong. We always try to share some type of truth with people, for example, "God loves you!" or "your life has a purpose!" This particular time I blurted out "I know you can have a family with us!" Sister seaver confirmed the apostate with a nod and a smile, and the moment was gone. He was inside his work & we were walking the opposite way down the street. Once the scene settled in our minds we busted up laughing! Through tear filled ...

"And now behold, I say unto you, my brethren, if ye have experienced a change of heart, and if ye have felt to sing the song of redeeming love, I would ask, can ye feel so now?" (-alma 5:26) Alright!! I must tell y'all about Sam Sayem. We met him two weeks ago. I haven't mentioned him yet because I didn't want to take attention away from Brother Farraj and Megan!   WELL, SAM IS AWESOME. I met him on an exchange. He and his wife were getting their groceries and going into the house. They really didn't seem that interested. But God knows the heart because the next day my real companion and I were in that same apartment complex. We saw a man sitting in his car, so naturally we go wave him to roll down his window so we can talk to him (perks of being a sister). It was Sam!! He says "I read your pamphlet. I was going to call you today because I know there must be a prophet on earth today." (Grew up Muslim in Bangladesh might I add..) Well, since that d...

Remember a few weeks ago when we prayed to teach a woman because our teaching pool was just men? WELL, SHE'S BAPTIZED! It's been a wonderful week in Zion! She gave the sweetest testimony at her baptism. Wow, I love her. Most of her family and friends flew out to be a part of the celebration! Awesome!  And thus we see.. God DEFINITELY goes above and beyond to be sure we recognize our answers to prayer. And all are blessed as a result.  This week we were walking along a parking lot talking to the people. Spreading the gospel. We got into a conversation with a couple. It quickly switched from a nice conversation about God to a very aggressive conversation about.. apostate doctrine. We knew that we wouldn't see eye to eye so naturally just wished them well and went on our way. Nothing too out of the ordinary.. BUT  God's timing is cool because the next day at church the speaker said "I know this church is true." A phrase I've heard and said my entire li...

Each day I think I can't love my mission more than I do that day, but when the days turn to Monday and I sit down to write these emails, and after some reflecting, my love has somehow grown even from the last time.  Wow, what a week. On Wednesday (I think) Brother Farraj (the friend from Jordan that was raised Christian) called and began explaining how he was driving down the highway on the way back from work when a bunch of cars in front of him crashed & a bunch behind him crashed. He was protected by centimeters on either side! He took it as a sign that he was ready for baptism and shouldn't wait any longer. We scheduled everything and had a BEAUTIFUL service Saturday evening. This man is so converted to the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. His fellowshipper, Brother Kronmiller, baptized him in Arabic. It was very personal, just as the Savior would have it. Tears. Tears the whole evening. Tears while I write this. "Now have we not reas...
