A little Bias 7/30/18
Ima be completely honest. It takes a lot of self control not to climb all the beautiful trees here.
When "atheists" want to become Mormon..
(Okay, Abdul is obviously not atheist anymore I just find it funny that's what he claimed when we met him.)
It's true. Miracles happen. In our lesson with Abdul this week HE brought up baptism and asked how that process works. (Which was convenient bc we were about to lead into it anyway. #thespirit) Honestly, I am so amazed with this guy. And the spirit. And how it has been working with him little by little since he was born. AH GOD IS SO GOOD. #ondate :')
Perhaps a slight bias will be detected in the next paragraph..
I have the best area. Ever. Hahaha I'm not kidding. Walking around and finding people is the best ever because we will start on one block with people living in million dollar homes & literally the next block over will be "the hood." (I love them both for different reasons) And mixed in are people that were born all over the world. Every day is a new experience & I seriously love it. I feel like I'm living in a dream. THE dream, perhaps. ;)
The bias may continue..
I have the best ward. Ever. For so many reasons. Sister chaudoin and I, the elders & our amazing ward mission leader gave the combined lesson during third hour this Sunday. Let me tell ya, there is something really special about this congregation. The spirit of unity & pure love is almost tangible. It's all a team effort & it seems these kids have it almost perfected. Never feel like the love you give your ward/ community is wasted. I PROMISE it isn't.
"The key to greatness is to remember our nothingness without Christ & his atonement." -i don't remember. (I read a lot of things during the week.)
Love you!
I pray you all have a blessed week. Show bean the 11:11.

This week was a blur. One thing I wanna share tho.. I've been all excited to come on a mission because (a lot of reasons) but I was gonna get to be with grandma a lot! And I've been kinda butt hurt because I haven't felt her hardly at all. Rude. Haha but whilst praying this week God was like "she's doing missionary work in the spirit world. Sorry. But you both have the same purpose rn and that's a connection far stronger than feeling her around you all the time." I was k with that. :D Anyway, love you all.
