So many miracles this week. Days hardly go as planned but they always go as God planned. If we follow the spirit and strive to be worth of it. 😁

Well, friends. I did something bad. Last Monday evening sister seaver and I decided to treat ourselves and get a nice Korean dinner. As we walked out of the restaurant a sir was walking past us. Of course we try to share the gospel with him but he was in a rush to get back to work. We placed a nice picture of Jesus in his hand as he kept walking away. All seems typical, right? Wrong. We always try to share some type of truth with people, for example, "God loves you!" or "your life has a purpose!" This particular time I blurted out "I know you can have a family with us!" Sister seaver confirmed the apostate with a nod and a smile, and the moment was gone. He was inside his work & we were walking the opposite way down the street. Once the scene settled in our minds we busted up laughing! Through tear filled eyes and a cramped stomach I tried explaining to her I meant to say something along the lines of "we have a church family you can be a part of." My prayer that night was, for the first and last time, in hopes that man didn't know anything about the church. Because if he does I put a golden stamp on polygamy, which is just a shame. Sorry, heavenly father.

This week I got much strength from Nephi, son of Helaman. His life is really hard haha but, nevertheless, "Blessed art thou, Nephi, for those things which thou hast done; for I have beheld how thou hast with UNWEARYINGNESS declared the word, which I have given unto thee, unto this people. And thou hast not feared them, and HAST NOT SOUGHT THINE OWN LIFE, but hast sought my will, and to keep my commandments. And now, because thou hast done this with such unwearyingness, behold, I will bless thee forever;" (helaman 10:4-5) What a guy. I take great comfort that billions of our brothers and sisters continue, with unwearyingness, to declare the gospel in the life to come. ☺🎉 It's truly an honor to be a part of this work, to wear Jesus Christ on my heart every day. I'm very grateful for the time I have left!!

"We know that pain reminds this heart that this is not our home"
-a quote from relief society yesterday
Ain't that the truth? We aren't meant to be fallen forever. There is a home, a mansion if we choose, waiting for us.
Keep hoping, friends! Keep hoping.

Love, Sister Izzy Smith
