Time Stand Still

This week went by TOO quick!! Time can slow down, please.
God blessed us with many new friends to teach this week!! FIVE families! How exciting! 🤗❤  woot! woot! And thus we see, prayers are always answered!

A scripture that has meant a lot to me recently is Doctrine and Covenents 123:17 "Therefore, dearly beloved brethren, let us cheerfully do all things that lie in our power; and then may we stand still, with the utmost assurance, to see the salvation of God, and for his arm to be revealed."
All we can do is our best, then it must be the work of God. I'm so happy we have a God in heaven, and in our hearts, that we can trust will do the best for us as we do the best for Him. 😊

The work of being a missionary for Christ's true, restored gospel is the greatest opportunity/ experience anyone could receive. My days are becoming numbered and it brings me to tears multiple times in a week. The "mighty change of heart" that has taken place within me, I could never repay and, frankly, don't deserve. But that is exactly the beauty of Jesus Christ's Atonement. We don't deserve it, yet it's already there for all of us to grab onto.
My favorite moments of missionary work are the private ones where it's just you, your companion, a stranger, and the Lord. Those moments where you set your fears aside and strike a conversation with whomever you are led to. Or in a lesson with someone who, in a short time, has become your life long friend. Nothing is as valuable as the look on someone's face when they realize Christ came to America and you have the book with the record, or when they discover a loving God, of course, has three degrees of heaven. The list could go on! That's where the real power/ satisfaction comes! Zone confrence is great, studies is great, district council is great, it's all great, but the BEST is when Heavenly Father's children begin to understand the doctrine taught before they came to Earth. Those private, spirit led, conversations cannot be shared, liked, or posted, that's where we find our peace and our joy. That is why I believe Alma feels the way he does here, "And now it came to pass that the sons of Alma did go forth among the people, to declare the word unto them. And Alma, also, himself, could not rest, and he also went forth." He can't rest, this work is too consequential. And we can't rest either. We must all share the truth. It is the calling for which we were sent to Earth, and it will never be in vain. We know who wins this battle! "...they preached the word, and the truth, according to the spirit of prophecy and revelation; and they preached after the holy order of God by which they were called." (Alma 43:1-2)

I know there is a Father In Heaven that has YOUR name etched in His plan of salvation.

The love is REAL!
